Feast Activities
Feast of Tabernacles
Thursday, October 25th to Thursday, November 1st, 2018
"And the LORD spoke to Moses, saying, "Speak to the people of Israel, saying, On the fifteenth day of this seventh month and for seven days is the Feast of Tabernacles to the LORD. . . . and you shall rejoice before the LORD your God seven days" (Leviticus 23:33-34,40, ESV)

Because our first priority is to come to worship God as we celebrate the Feast of Tabernacles, we plan to have morning and afternoon services on the First Day of the Feast of Tabernacles, the Sabbath, and the Last Great Day. On the other days of the Feast, we plan to have feast classes for children and teenagers, seminars, and Bible studies.
Worshipping God and rejoicing before the LORD at the Feast of Tabernacles also involves fellowship with each other. To that end, we are considering the following activities:

- hiking in Echo Bluff State Park
- Ultimate frisbee competition
- float trip on nearby Current River
- sight-seeing to nearby Round Springs
- movie night at the amphitheater
- hymn-alongs
- cobbler/ice cream social
- soup/cracker night at one of the pavilions
- catered meals
- hamburger/hotdog cookout at Bluff Pavilion with a bonfire into the evening
- country dance
- family fun day
- fun show
